Multi Stand Mills

In the area of cold rolling, products and materials can be produced on single-stand or multi-stand systems. The main difference is in the production area and the production time.
REDEX Group offers almost all processes as single-stand or multi-stand systems.

The larger dimensions of a multi-stand plant are compensated by the high production rates of these machines.
Whereas with a single-set-up system, the pre-material often has to pass through the machine several times (sometimes even reversing), a multi-set-up system usually allows the final dimensions to be produced in one pass.

Depending on the material used and the strength in question, both flat wires and round wires can be produced in the well-known RMW (Rectangular Magnet Wire) or RM (Reduction Mill) machines at speeds of up to 1200m/min.
