Tension leveling section

On continuous processing lines of low carbon steel, customers are looking for good flatness with a minimum of exploitation costs.

The multizone levelers, as Multiflex or our patented Levelflex®, are designed to reach these targets.

These levelers are composed of an assembly of several groups of bending rolls.

The first roll ensures approx. 80 % of the elongation through extensive bending of the strip on a small diameter roll thus eliminating the waves.

The second roll ensures the correction of the crossbow and the third roll corrects the coil set.
