Shears

REDEX Group can provide in the entry and exit of continuous lines or in cut-to-length lines a full range of shears. These shears can cut from very thin material 0,02 mm to very thick materials 12mm at low or very high speed. Quick tools, cassette changing device and automatic blade adjustment are available.

Our portfolio of shears includes crop shears, swing shears for thick materials and low speed up to 50 m/min; eccentric shears for mid-size thickness and strip speed up to 150 m/min, drums shears for small thickness and high speed up to 300 m/min.

Flying shear in a cut-to-length line needs a very precise automation.
REDEX Group has developed its own shear controller essentially based on a PLC (latest generation), converter (SINAMICS S120) and the WinCC visualization system from Siemens.

The shear, together with the flying shear controller, is capable of guaranteeing high length accuracy in combination with a rectangular cut and a perfect cutting surface.
