Centrifuges

The REDEX SR epicyclic gear-train is made of three elements linked by gears. Two sun-gears and a planet carrier. Main motor drives the centrifugal motions of both bowl and scroll each of which are connected to a SR sun-gear. By rotating the second motor the SR planet carrier creates a relative speed between bowl and scroll that moves the solid particles independently to the centrifugal speed. Therefore water is centrifuged through the bowl and solid particles and ejected out of the decanter.

The necessary power for driving and driven loading test is limited to 10 to 30% of conventional test rig.
